Announcing Carroll Education Foundation’s 2015 Culinary Celebration Chairs

The Carroll Education Foundation (CEF) is proud to announce Sarah Mason and Chuck Koskovich as co-chairs for the 2015 Culinary Celebration. This premiere CISD fundraising event supports every school in CISD.

Here’s a look at the chairs for this year’s event, themed Dragons of the Caribbean: Building Treasures for Carroll ISD.

Mason, a CEF board member since 2010, served as the co-chair of the Culinary Celebration in 2014 and has also served on the Foundation’s scholarship and grant committees. Mason has been a Southlake resident for more than 15 years, and she’s married to Dr. Mark Mason of Southlake Plastic Surgery, where she works as the Practice Manager. Mason is a retired dentist and has also been an adjunct professor and an Educational Specialist.

Mason is a past president of the Southlake Association for the Gifted and Talented; she has served on the CISD District Advisory Committee, the Gifted Advisory Program Committee, and she’s a member of the National Charity League with her daughter, Kylie.

Koskovich, senior vice president of operations for Convergys Corporation, is an operations executive who has nearly 25 years of experience leading and managing complex operations and companies. Koskovich’s broad leadership experience includes running large customer support operations for companies including DISH Network, TeleTech and BlackBerry, prior to joining Convergys in 2012. In his current role, Koskovich oversees operations in North America, India and China, among other responsibilities.

Koskovich is an active CEF board member and is the incoming president for 2016. In addition to his work for CEF, Koskovich is an avid triathlete and a proud member of Tri4Him. He and his wife, Michele, are five-year residents of Southlake and have two children: Haley, a recent graduate of CSHS, and Adam, a junior at CSHS.

Last year, the Culinary Celebration allowed CEF to provide substantial financial benefits to CISD: More than $80,000 in teacher grants and more than $15,000 in student scholarships.
