CEF Promotes End of Year Giving with a $1,000 Campus Competition

November 28, 2016 (Southlake, TX) – The Carroll Education Foundation recently distributed $100,000 in annual teaching grants to all campuses in the Carroll Independent School District, which brings total grant, scholarship and teacher recognition distributions to over $1.4M since CEF was founded in 1996.

If you support education in Carroll ISD and have not had the opportunity to support CEF in 2016, please give to the End of Year Campaign! Donate $25+ at www.southlakecef.org/donate and include the campus(es) where your children currently attend. Their campus may win $1,000 to use towards a grant purchase in December 2016! This $1,000 gift was generously donated by the CSHS Class of 1996 at their recent 20th class reunion. Donation deadline for the Campus Competition is Sunday, 12/11/16. Thank you to Isaac Gregory and Kelsey Bunch for thinking of CEF when planning their event.

Carroll Alumni are an important part of the history of the district and are still very supportive of Carroll ISD. Other groups such as a recent “All Carroll Alumni” event in August, organized by Brian (CSHS ’79) & Stephanie Hodges, also brought in funding for the foundation. An official Alumni Committee organized by CEF will launch on January 1, 2017. CSHS alumni interested in more information may get connected at www.southlakecef.org/alumni.
